# Anonymize

> Admin: erase a customer's personal data (right to erasure). IRREVERSIBLE.

``confirm_email`` must be the customer's current email (case-insensitive),
else 422 ``customer.anonymize_confirmation``; an account already
anonymized answers 409 ``customer.anonymized``. Orders stay, with their
amounts, for accounting and tax (``customers/anonymize.py``). Staff
accounts are not customers: 404.
